What language or stack it is written in is not a filter. What matters is that the business needs the software kept running.

How engagement works

1. You start with Discovery — a paid look at a fixed price that can end with no further work — so you learn what you have before you commit further.

2. If we proceed, Stabilization is fixed-price work that makes the system known, recoverable, deployable, and maintainable enough to steward, and leaves you a System Manual.

3. Only after that quality bar is met do we offer Stewardship — an ongoing retainer to keep the system maintainable and recoverable.

4. When you leave, Exit leaves you a current System Manual a competent successor can use — so you are never trapped.

What comes first

Keeping the existing code running comes first. We stabilize what you have before we talk about rebuilding.

Changing what the software does is Enhancement. It is never inside the Stewardship retainer; it is priced separately when you want it.

Moving the system onto a newer stack is Legacy Modernization. It also sits outside that retainer, and only after the system is understood.
